I've already caught their alts around and they haven't bothered to tell me that they're not interested anymore. I've been thinking about this for a while now, and I think it's because of the dynamics of online friendship, if you can even call it that.

When you become very close with your real life friends, it's easy to do things together that require no words. Aside the usuals of playing games together, eating food together, and so on, a lot of time spent with very close friends can just be being near each other.

You don't need words because there isn't much you can really say to them after a certain point. You don't really have that kind of dynamic with a text based friendship. You have to move to voice, and then you have to start playing games together, and even then you'll probably find you end up just sitting in a discord together being quiet, enjoying their company.

But if you leave it completely up to text, you don't really progress any further in your friendship, you've got nowhere to continue. So you run out of things to say, and people seem to take this as boredom as opposed to progression of friendship.

If you do anything with a friend, you are communicating something. Otherwise you might as well be alone or with a stranger. Text limits that something to a specific medium, but as long as you are capable of doing that friendship communication through that medium, you still have a full friendship.

The only reasons you wouldn't are if the type of communication you want can't be done through text or you're not capable of doing it through text. But those aren't problems with the medium. You can still have a full friendship through it.

I don't know if I'm being unreasonable, but it really annoys me that some people can't just stick with one look for their character. It just shows to me that you haven't really thought out your profile well enough.

You only offer one thing, that gets quickly boring and because you just do "cute stuff" you don't bond over things that can lead to meaningful interactions and an actual rapport. So not only does what you are doing become really stale but also, once you get past that staleness there is nothing there.

No scenarios you dreamed up together. No interesting characters with clashing views and personalities. That's why people don't like cute posting. It has all the pointless stupidity of shitposting and it can't even make you laugh.

Depends on the room. I've gotten promoted in two channels because one of the mods recommended me both times, and in a third private channel I got promoted because the owner wanted some mods to populate their new channel, and I happened to be online and on their friends list at the time.

Deleted system 32 Installed Gentoo Washed my processor. Nowadays when I press "record", sometimes things go smoothly. Then when I playback the recording, I notice choppiness in certain parts of it but not entirely throughout.

And when I use ffmpeg to trim the recordings, the video and audio is desynced. Again, 2 months ago this didn't happen. Clean installing Win10 didn't fix it. Using a driver cleaner and reinstalling an nvidia driver from January didn't fix it.
